I have a small BGE that I carry in the basement. I've had it for about 7 years. My favorite is cooking bacon on it in the mornings. I have been thinking of getting the new mega-mini since it is lighter to lift.

Check out the weber smoky mountain. Lifts apart in 3 sections, easy to store and transport. Very little maintenance after lighting the charcoal. I've got the 18 1/2 inch size and it's perfect. The end results is awesome.

I have a large BGE, at home, and a Mini Max BGE in the RV. I love the mini max, it heats up really fast, perfect for doing 3 or 4 steaks for supper. Last weekend I did ribs, a pork shoulder and a loin on the large. Had the company try out the ribs and they were all very impressed, some of the best baby backs ever.

As luck would have it, I came across a smokin deal on a small BGE today at Tasty Licks BBQ Supply in Shillington, PA. Now I have one for the road. I already did some chicken thighs, and just put a pork butt on for tomorrow.

I've been interested in a BGE and went to look at them yesterday. Thinking of the medium size to take with us camping. Just wondering how easy it is to transport and concerns with cracking it. We have a 385TH so I have plenty of room for stirage. I've never used one or had food from one but it seems everyone that owns one loves them. I liked at the mini but it's way too small for the four of us and the kids typically bring a friend, at least one of them does each trip.
