2017 350M - Generator Storage Door Latches Not Working

Anyone else have issues with the door to the storage area for the generator and batteries not staying fully closed? Seems the latch for the lock and one of the other latches are not long enough...almost like only one of the latches keeping it closed.

If the lever part of the latch/lock is not long enough (several have mentioned this problem) you can replace them fairly easily. Most places that carry small locks and such will have an assortment of the lever pieces.

While you can make the latch longer, you should check for structural problems. With the generator and battery in that compartment there is a lot of weight. If you've added more batteries or other heavy stuff, you may need to support the bottom of that compartment. I added considerable battery weight and found that I needed to add structural support to mine (388m).

My latches work but the lock latch doesn't engage. I don't think it ever did when new. I have a handful of things that still need fixed for warranty stuff during my appt in about a week. This is on the list.

You ever have any problems with the fueling station. I can't get any power to mine. Is there another switch somewhere? Fuse in fuse panel of closet is good.

I found some online that are 1/4inch longer and they worked great. Thanks

No, mine works great. The only switch I know of is in the fuel compartment behind the door on the little black box where your fuel gages are.

I have the same issue brand new 376th and the latch is to small, I bought a longer one it works somewhat but to be honest the lock is cheap and the generator and battery are very expensive, I like take the lock out and buy and cut out a bigger latch to put in it so it is very secure, I have it stored at a storage lot and do not want it stolen even though there are cameras but not even sure if they work, has anyone taken out the cheap lock and put in a larger more secure on and how did you do it an how does it work. If you have a link to the lock if you did put a new one in please send it I like to do this soon.

    Thanks for any help........
