Does this slide need adjustment?
We took our Reflection out for the first time this week. Does it look like the large kitchen/LR slide needs adjustment?
Here is the upper rear
Here is the lower rear
Here is the lower front
The front seems to be tight to the seal. Concerned about the rear.
Thanks for your thoughts....

Re: Does this slide need adjustment?
Yes to the adjustment to the lower front corner if it's not compressing the seal. Is it the end with the actuator or the idler end? On our 337 it's the actuator end so yours is probably the same. I had the opposite corner adjusted at the PDI on the kitchen/EC slide.

Re: Does this slide need adjustment?
Looking at the picture again, if you talking about seal in the lower area below the trim, it's sheet metal, not laminated on the slide wall. If it's not sealing above that trim piece, an adjustment is probably required.

Re: Does this slide need adjustment?
Thanks Dave. We'll take a trip out to storage and check. I think its the lower spot. It is pouring today and we need to check a window to see if it is a leak or was just condensation. Hope the latter, but think some ProFlex (or complete window reseating which we would not do ourselves) may be in order. It is 100 miles each way to dealer, so hoping to find all things at once to minimize trips.
The electrical issue (I will post separate) is something we'll need to diagnose on a longer trip, since it's intermittent.

Just took new 355TH out for 1st time. The items that needs adjusting consist of both living room slides. The kitchen slide roller closest to the front door has put a fairly deep indention into the floor. Not happy with that. The other slide has left a black streak on the floor but that can probably be cleaned up. Will take it to our dealer when we get back.

2hams, your picture is exactly what my dining side slide looks like, but it is the leading edge, not trailing. Did an adjustment make it any better? My dealer supposedly adjusted mine, but I can still put my hand in there as in your picture. Also, after the adjustment? the bottom seal is now destroyed, new seal on order. Another trip to the dealer to replace next week.

luckeyd1 - Gee, the dealer should not have destroyed the seal!!! We had to stop by our dealer (in Richmond) for another issue (a dent in the rear cap) so had them adjust the slide for us. No problems since. We just went to storage and checked things out today, and everything looks fine. We had golf ball size hail at home, but storage is out off London Bridge Road.

I have the 303RLS and my Kitchen slide is the same way, when I questioned it during the PDI I was told that was normal. It's rained several times since then and I've not experienced any issues.

My unit has not leaked but I know that being able to put your hand between the slide and the trailer is not a normally adjusted slide. And now with the bottom seal destroyed, if towed in the rain, would probably allow water intrusion under the slide. Tomorrow it goes to dealer for repair of the damaged bottom slide seal.
