Is a trailer that has been sitting on the sales lot 8 months a concern? Exposure etc.

    Hi all,

We are about to purchase a new 2017 2800BH. It has been on the dealers lot since last August. I am concerned that the length of time sitting on the lot might lead to issues. Such as the slide out being extended for that long or any other issue I should consider. Its in Colorado so has seen snow in the colder months. Would love any advice from those who know, this is our first trailer purchase.

    Thanks in advance.

Not sure about issues but you do know that they made changes later in the year so might not have the undermount sink, countertop extension, ladder, and drawer stack (accessible without opening a door). Also, the latest ones now have a door to the bedroom and the spray port in the pass through has hot and cold valves. Just some FYI's. If you don't care you should be able to get a great deal if missing them.

Thank you. This one lacks the undercounter sink, counter extender, extra drawers. It does have the ladder. I had thought about buying the 2018 to get the hot and cold water outside.

Kodakk - If you are OK with the other differences, I wouldn't make a major decision like this, based on a hot water pipe and a dual faucet . . . these would not be difficult to add .
