Hi All....Going full time and ready to learn.
My wife and I are going full time RV. We just sold the house and will be on the road May 12th. We have so much to learn and so little time before we get started.
Right now we have a pretty nice 2016 33' 5th wheel. In the near future we are going to up-grad to a 5th wheel more suited to full time living. The two trailers we are looking at are the Montana 3790 and Grand Design Solitude 375. Without going into which brand is better I sure would like to hear from those that have any experience with the GD 375. Any info would be great.
I have been reading some of the post on this forum and I know I can learn a lot from some of the members here. Thanks again for any info.Last edited by warsw1; 04-16-2017 at 09:43 AM.

I and DW are in the process of doing exactly the same thing. House needs to get sold, then I’ll work a few more months until the 5’er is paid for. After that, lookout world.

Love the floorplan of the new 375RES! Awesome storage! Grand Design customer service is the best in the business after the sale. They will take care of you if you have any issues. Good luck.

We have owned the Montana 379RD & now have a GD 397TH.....no comparison in quality & especially customer service! A friend of ours recently bough the Solitude 375, it's a beautiful coach! If we didn't need the toy hauler, that's the one we would have bought. Good luck & happy trails!

WarSW1 and TankerDude, welcome to the forum and to the full time lifestyle. We have been full timing for 6 years and 2 months. We are still loving it. Be sure to look at Escapees.com, they were my first resource for lots of fulltime questions. There are plenty of full timers on this forum also. So any questions you have post em up, somebody will provide some information on the subject and everyone will provide a personal perspective. Don't forget you can PM specific questions to other full timers also.

Hello Scott & Jan,
You mentioned Grand Design customer service is the best in the business after the sale. So we are wondering if with all of the problems we have found since taking delivery if we should contact them directly or continue with our plans to head back to our dealer in Fresno to see if they truly will fix everything? We have some major and some minor things that need fixing, including heavy leakage from top of slides, when retracting with water pouring down sides of the slides, inside once fully retracted, also pooling on top of slides. Slides on outside show huge gap towards bottom and small gap at the tops when closed. Electric water heater doesn't work, and so much more. Thank You in advance for your help.
Sincerely, Sandie & Gary

We researched for over a year for the best quality Fifthwheel, we decided on GD. We also found this comparison, on Montana verses GD if you would like to view it. http://www.btcamper.com/solitude-fifth-wheel-comparison
