Getting back in to trailering.

Hello Everyone

My wife and I just purchased the GD Reflection 297rsts. We have a 2012 F 150 5.0L with tow pkg. The Travel Trailer dealer said it would be more than ample to pull it. We have not picked up the Trailer yet we take ownership on Tuesday. This is the soonest we could get our walk thru done. Busy place. I am also getting a weight leveling-anti sway system installed.

Welcome to the forum Randy, I graduated from Chadron High School.

The charts I looked at may not fit your situation exactly, so take what I have to say with a grain of salt.

You will be fine in Nebraska and Kansas. If you start playing with the Rockies you will want to double check your weights and capacities.
There will be a couple of minor challenges around Rapid City/Mt. Rushmore, just remember you aren't in a race and watch that temp gauge.

You can generally get your rig weighed at granaries. It's been a long time since I was in that part of the country so can't be more specific.
