    Question running refridgerator on LP

    After bring the Reflection home from from storage we plug in electric and precool refridgerator the day before a trip. When I unplug with from shore power and fridge is in auto mode it fails to run in LP and displays NO LP.

    I try stove top and the burners fire up find. if I run the heater for a few minutes then turn the Fridge on it then runs on LP.

    Any suggestions?

    Takes awhile to purge the air from the gas lines if the unit has been in storage with the valves closed . . . light your other appliances first to help distribute the LP through the lines.

    I always run 1 burner on the stove for a few seconds first before running the fridge on propane because of the same thing.

    It may take a few attempts to light the propane flame for the fridge to eliminate any air in the branch line from the main propane line.

    Thanks for the replies. I didn't turn off the LP tank when it was in storage for the week.

    When the fridge failed, NO LP, I did run a stove burner for about 15 seconds first then tried the fridge but it failed to start.

    I then turned the heater on for about 1 minute to purge air, then turned the fridge on and it started.

    I'll try to run a burner a while longer next time.

    Jerry;
    On our 337RLS I run a stove burner for a bit then run the water heater(on LP)for a bit(make sure there is water in it), if not only run it till it lights then immediately turn back off. You are only looking to purge the air. This works well for us.
