    Heater cycling.

Good morning. It is our first trip this year and first time using the heater. The flame on the heater keeps cycling on and off. I have looked for any suspicious blockage etc and can't seems to find any issues. As I sit here right now it has been cycling for five minutes. Generally it goes for longer each time until it is on constant until the heat kicks off. Thoughts?

Search this site for posts about issues with Furnaces. There are some threads that discuss a variety of issues, including "cycling." Some folks might be able to offer you better info from their experience if you provide a bit more information such as, are you running on shore power or battery and what is your altitude. From your description "until the heat kicks off", it sounds like the furnace eventually ignites and runs ok. Is that correct? Or, by "kicks off" do you mean it shuts off?

Sorry for the delayed reply. Eventually after cycling on and off initially it stays on until the temp is reached. But pretty much each time it was doing that. I'm in KS at like 1100 ft Thanks for the recommendation.

Ok, I recommend you take it to the dealer for check out. Sounds like the Furnace is struggling a bit to successfully ignite, but it does ignite. It could be a couple of things - let them diagnose. Hopefully, you're still under warranty. As I mentioned, there are several threads on this site covering Furnace issues, but at least altitude is not your issue.

I had the same issue. The unit would cycle then stay on but every time the unit started it would cycle. Had a mobile tech work on it and tried numerous things with no luck. Eventually the unit was replaced and all seems well at this point.
