Soon to be new 303 owner

Our new 2018 303 came off the production line on Friday April 21st. Can't wait to take delivery. This site has been extremely helpful in our search and decision making process. We have had various travel trailers before but this will be the first 5th wheel. We had an old Scotsman, '94 Prowler 19 ft and a 2010 Springdale 241rks. All served us well. The 303 is the retirement unit, even if a bit before retirement.

Matt & Dana - your rv/camping background sounds similar to many including ours ! Our 303 was our first fiver too and after working through opportunities and challenges with one of the early build 303s we still really like it a lot ! Great folks on a civil and respectful forum here to help and share. Enjoy your 303 and share some pictures when you can !

Enjoy your 303 ! We've had ours since 02/2014 and have been very happy with our choice. (altho Gary would like a couple more feet so he can get more beer in the fridge ) We've been snowbirding for the past 5 months, it'll be 6 by the time we get home. We still love it and have not been getting in each others way (except while I'm cooking inside ) I think it's just an unwritten rule while I cook is for the dogs to wait for dropped goodies and Gary to want in the fridge, sink or pantry.

Welcome Matt and Dana! Glad to have you here and congrats on the new 5th wheel. Remember Grand Design is covering your 6 so if you ever get frustrated with your dealer a simple call to GD customer service will get you up and running in short order.

Great choice of RV's! We've had 5 campers and our 303 is our second 5er. Previously had an Open Range which we liked but the floor plan sucked. Last fall we took it to the dealer for possible modifications and he showed us the 303. Bought it on the spot. We've had it our three times and really are happy with our decision. We'll be headed out again soon.

Congrats! We are in the same boat. Went from a pop up , to 27' TT/ hybrid, and now our first 5th wheel. The idea is to have the new truck and 5th wheel paid off before hitting retirement. We pick up our new 303 tomorrow, built just before yours... good luck !
