To V Light or not to V Light... That is my question

I saw a post on another forum about how a new GD owner had relocated the "V" light switch... referring to the "V" lights on the front cap of the trailer. On my 2150 there is some kind of semi-transparent decal or some such where I would expect these lights to be.. However, I haven't noticed any mystery light switch..

Do I have them, and not know it, or does the 2017 2150 RB not come with this feature?

    TIA

    Jerry

On many other Imagines, the switch is in the pass through compartment, near the motion light on the driver's side......

Yep that is where the switch is. I made mine a 3 way and added the other switch in the bedroom next to the bed with an indicator. It was an easy place to run the wires to and the indicator glowing won't let me forget to turn them off.

GoHorns -I didn't like the location of the "V" light switch in the pass thru either so I eliminated the switch and wired in a in line dimmer switch that has a key phobe remote control. The "V" lights look really good at night when they are dimmed down. I leave them on all night some times. And the key phobe is on my truck keys so when you come back to camper at night you can turn them on right from inside the truck. I bought my dimmer switch at superbrightleds.com (single color led dimmer part#LDBRF-8A) I used a plan black electric cover plate to cover the hole in the pass thru where the switch use to be.

Well.... I couldn't stand it... So: we drove out to the storage place, opened the storage door... turned on the power, and turned on the "V" lights.... For the next few moments my wife and I sat silently, basking on the glow or our new found lighting... It was a tender moment indeed.

I am inspired by some of the ideas passed along, and may be looking at some alternative switching myself in the future.

Thanks again for all the replies.

my “V” looks horrible... they have some yellow warm leds mixed randomly in with white leds... silly.
    Why did they do that?

This sounds great. I just ordered one. How exactly did you install? Just pulled the old switch and spliced in? Where did you mount the dimmer?
