Well, I had it installed today.. The only rant I have about is.. The piece of filler wood that is between the doors that has to be removed, leaves a gap of about an inch now. Looks terrible, I've got to figure a way to close it up a bit. Other than that it fits and looks great in there.

Can you post a picture? Very interested to see how the washer and dryer fits.

    Thanks!

If you have your Solitude on order, your set up will be different. You should have the washer on one side, and dryer on the other. You should have the U shaped walk in closet.

Re: Adding a washer and dryer?

Just a question? but With the redesign of the closet and the idea of a washer on the right and dryer on the left, Why not cut out the vent hole at the factory during the build. wouldn't it be easier for the end user to have it pre done and have the option to use or not use it? Its a little concerning to me that I have to cut a hole in the side myself.....

Because the actual amount of users that have the w/d installed is like 25%....

Most wouldn't want the hole in there.

It is really no big deal. A good sharp hole saw and it is over fairly quickly. Doesn't take much to cut through a layer of luan, styrofoam, and luan/gelcoat.

visited the Raleigh show and looking at the 320x for traveling to AK. We decided a washer dryer makes sense but was wondering how they were placed since the doors where sliders and it looks like they had to face into the closet which would be a pain due to hanging clothes. The picture shows bifold doors. Do these come from factory that way or were they aftermarket by dealer?

My husband did our installation of our washer and dryer. The only thing I can say is do not trust the template that is inside the dryer closet. He made his own "trial" template and it is a good thing he did because it was off by about 1/2 inch. He said cutting into the coach was one of the hardest things he has ever done! i love my washer and dryer though!

    Hi @rcfoss,

The 320X is built with sliding closet doors. Washer and dryer hookups have the washer on the door side and driver on the off-door side.

    Best regards,
