Dumb Satellite Question, Probably

Hello all. As we anxiously await delivery of our 2018 Reflection 337RLS I have been scouring the internet looking at all the pics I can find. In all the pics I have seen of the convenience center, I can only see one coax connector for cable. I don't see the bedroom/living room connections for satellite. Are they just located somewhere that I'm not seeing in the pictures? I can't imagine Grand Design eliminating this feature.....

That coax connector can be used for cable or satellite. Most people don't use both at the same time. If you want to run cable and satellite simultaneously, you'll need to run a second cable.

Hmmm, it was my understanding that the cable connector goes to a splitter and feeds both bedroom and living room. Since satellite won't work through a splitter there were separate connections/feeds for satellite...... No???

I can't speak to that as I don't have a TV hooked up in the bedroom. But, I used the coax in the cabinet above the TV for my satellite receiver and it works great. I've never used it for cable TV. Sorry I'm not any more helpful. I'm sure others who have two TV's and satellite will chime in. I have the DirecTV Genie receiver so if I wanted a second receiver for the bedroom, I'd just add a Genie mini which requires no wires (it uses a wifi hub).

The satellite antenna connection on our new 303 is in the cabinet above the TV. And in the bedroom.

That is how mine is set. Cable splits to both rooms, Sat has to go to one or the other. I use my Sat connection for Living room for my XM radio/antenna--I bought adapters to connect to the coax.

I need to follow up on my own post and explain how my tunnel vision caused me to miss the forest for the trees so to speak. In the pics I was looking at online I was so focused on the wall plate with the single coax connector I failed to see the other 3 coax connectors that are/were located just to the right of the outside shower faucet. Soooo, mystery solved, thanks to everybody that replied. Much appreciated......
