    one night of freezing weather

I just bought a 2014 Solitude 369RL in Oct 2013. We are down south but are preparing for 19 degree weather just for one night. I know that we have heated tanks and basement. I was wondering if there is anything else that I should do.

    thank you

Are you hooked to city water connection? If you are hooked up to water, fill your tank, turn on the water heater, and you will be just fine. You should have no problems for the night. I hope you have a heated mattress, or blanket for the night. Best of luck, and try to keep yourself warm, your camper will do its job.

When it is freezing cold I just fill my fresh water tank and disconnect the city hose completely and drain the hose. I just use the water pump and fresh water tank until the weather goes back above freezing if it ever does this year. I run the heat and I have not had any problems with any pipes freeezing.

I want to thank you for your replys. It is currenty 18 degrees outside down on Mobile AL. We made it thru the night with no problemss! I filled the fresh water tank and disconnected the water hose and drained it. We are using a heated blanket. Wow, I am amazed at how well it worked.

Re: one night of freezing weather

    Hi all,

Thanks for the replies!! Regina (@rrheal), also your manual has a cold weather usage section that may be helpful. In addition, you may want to touch base with some RV dealers or campgrounds local to where you are staying for suggestions as they will be most familiar with their area/weather and may be of further assistance.

    Best regards,
    ~ Janice
