    Shocks for the Reflection Series????

Does anyone have recommendations for shocks/kits for the Reflection series?

I have looked at Lipperts shock kits for 3" & 2 3/8" axles.... around $123 per kit. Some say the Lippert Kits are too close to horizontal shock installations and won't function very good.

Joy Rider Kits are around $250.00 But they are closer to vertical on the install. They say their's work better than the Lipperts......

Any thoughts before I buy either one?????

Not a Reflection here but I put the Joy Riders on my Momentum and they made a big difference dampening out the bouncing. They work as advertised and Sonny (designer) is great to talk to and is a wealth of info. The angles do matter.

Shocks that are mounted vertical will get airaited. And not function properly.

I'm not sure I understand your comment Marcy. Aren't most vehicle shocks mounted vertically and they seem to do just fine for thousands and thousands of miles?

Most shocks are mounted at an angle somewhere between vertical and horizontal. Straight up and down is not preferred and neither is horizontal.

I installed Joy Rider shocks, love them. Sonny is very easy to deal with, and even answered his phone on a early Sunday morning, I was going to leave a message, but he answered.

    Chuck,
Thank you very much for your photo of the Joy Riders. Also, Thanks to everyone on the forum that gave info on shocks. Yes, I think the Joy Riders are a better product/choice. I am going with the Joy Riders. We have a long RV trip(about 4,000) miles planned starting 6/19/2017 and I am having new Goodyear Endurance ST 225 75R 15 Load range E installed and I will install the Joy Rider shocks. Also just installed a Splendide 2100 XC washer/dryer combo in our Reflection RTLS 313.
