New member Introduction
Please allow me to introduce my wife and myself to the Grand Design Forum. We are new to this site, having recently purchased a new GD Momentum 376TH. We previously owned a Georgetown Bunker Class A Gasser and a Tiffin Phaeton 42QBH. However, we missed having the flexibility to camp at rather unimproved areas, and we certainly looked forward to a lower cost of ownership(insurance, taxes, maintenance, etc.). So we did our research and settled on the Momentum as our first foray into the fifth wheel market. We are pulling the unit with a Chevrolet Diesel Dually and so far it has been a rock solid combination. Grades which used to pull the Phaeton down to fifty miles an hour now can be traversed at normal road speeds. Traveling company includes my wife and I, and our dog. Our children are out and about in the world and travel with us infrequently now so we have the entire unit to ourselves for the most part. We look forward to communicating with you and sharing our adventures and experiences in the Momentum. Best Wishes, David and Tracy + Otto the dog
