Anyone swap the control panel for switches for the interior lights etc?
The newer units come prewired to the home control system. Whatever it is called. I'm normally a tech guy but not having switches for lights for when the inevitable failure comes on that panel seems incredibly short sighted. Same on the slide outs. I'll be pretty pissed when I got to retract slides to leave and the stupid thing fails.
Anyone pull the panel and add a bank of switches? Maybe even three way so everything still works but you retain the switch option?

I added switches to mine. I unhooked the wires at the output control in the basement. Then added switches after the control to the main lights that I wanted to control, in series I guess you would call it. The lights need to be on in the One Control panel in order for the switches to work. It's not a bypass of the One Control but at least I have easy access to the lights. Hardest part was running the new wires to the switches.
