We had Tillamook RV Repair do it for us. We are not sure why they didn't put it in but it wasn't there. It wasn't covered under warranty but it was reasonable. We are in the park right next to them and we were having other stuff done at the time. And yes, we are in Tillamook, Oregon. I am pretty sure any RV repair place could do it. We have a great relationship with this place. We also do not have a truck yet, so they do any moving for us when we need it.

Gary & Deborah, thank you. That is very good information and the cost was much lower than I expected.

Thanks for the info. I think when I get back to Oregon I'm going to see about getting that done. To me, just circulating the air back into the trailer, makes no sense.

I installed a vent to the outside slide wall of my 2014 solitude.Works well in removing the smoke problem.Works better if you cook your bacon in a pan on the inside of the stove instead of the front.I have photos
of the process and can give you step by step instructions how to do it. So don't sell your Solitude ----just solve the issue
I'd love to see these. Will be doing this mod in our new 367BHS.
Hello! We are Jake and Lauren, aka JustSomethingSimple. Does anyone have a part number for the vent they installed on the outside?

I don't understand what Grand Design was even thinking. Some rigs / models / years have them and some don't. Our 2016 380TH Momentum had the outside stove vent, but our 2018 374TH-R Solitude does not. The Solitude has a microwave / convection oven. It needs it even more.

Grand Design would not pay to put one in, saying it was not necessary or factory.

I will be having some RV shop putting one in for us someday soon. KEN

We had Tillamook RV Repair do it for us too.

I didn't have the guts to drill and cut the side of the Solitude. I have installed maybe a 100 dryer vents in the side of an apartment's laundry rooms.

I watched the guy at Tillamook RV Repair do it and probably could have done better.

I shared pictures on another thread here. KEN
