Awning Sag & Center Support ( Observed on 2018 models of Imagine 2500RL )

We purchased a 2017 2500RL this past winter and jus had recall done on slide-out recall (new screws + z-clips added on inside).

I stopped to look at 3 2018 models in stock at dealer and noticed these units have following improvements:

1. Hot/cold faucet for spray hose attachmenbt in the utility center in cargo bay.
2. Center support bracket (essentially a small saddle) under the 21 ft long awning.

My 2500RL sags about 1" in center when rolled up, but have not had any problem related to this sag.

Is anyone aware of problems that led to the addition of this support?

We noticed the same thing on the 367BHS fifth wheels on our dealer's lot now. Has 21' awning. We bought our 2017 last August and we have a noted sag but no issues. I asked about having that brace added at the Rally this August in Elkhart.

Our 2017 has both these features. It was manufactured on 2/9/2017.
