Jim, I tried to stay in my easy chair after reading this, but of course I had to go and crawl under the trailer to see what mine looks like. I found that all of mine were pretty much like yours...the outside hanger bent inward toward the spring. Here's a pic.

I have done no work on my suspension...yet. I have a feeling all of them are this way.

Well, now what do we do? Emily Stahley told me it needed to be fixed. Since it's affecting multiple coaches, my guess is that they'll issue a recall just like they did for the greasy brakes!!! ;-( . I'm not sure anything needs to be done. I'm still thinking about adding MORryde braces though after watching that video that Rob posted. My guess is that the braces would dampen some of the movement from of the hanger and minimize metal fatigue.

The braces will synchronize the motion from side to side since they are from one hanger (flex area) to another. I think effective bracing would require two braces from the top of the frame rail to the end of the opposite hanger. Time for independent suspension, may as well do disc brakes at the same time. Jim, I don't think even Emily has enough clout to get our super-recall authorized LOL

Jim, for now I'm probably gonna wait this one out as it looks like they all may be like that. Of course if that's not the case or there is an issue, I will begin making calls. If you need me (or others) to notify someone to show repetiveness of a problem, I'll be glad to do that also.

Steve - It's not just us. Here is a hanger that a friend shared with me that is on a 2017 solitude with Correct Track.

Steve, I believe it would reduce the lateral movement that is caused by outside forces. The brace clamps onto the spring hanger up near the weld. As such, wouldn't it reduce the moment arm of the force being applied? Rob?

The MOR/ryde UO21-003 X Factor Performance Cross Member I have on the center bolts through the wet bolt and has the clamp above.
It does keep the inside hanger at 90 degrees, the outer still bends inward with the bolt tightened.
I didn't find the x-factor for the correct track ends, I did email MORryde today to ask if still made as I couldn't find it for sale or on MORryde's product page nor mention of it on any forum for several years.

Cross bar looks impressive. Could a guy pull the spring end in pic 3 down and weld a plate onto the inside of the right side to get everything perpendicular? Bad design IMHO.

It really seems to me that these hangers are made too wide, or are made to accommodate larger leaf springs. My knowledge of suspensions is limited though...

Gene - Your pictures have convinced me to go with the cross members. Since I don't have any Correct Track on my system, I'm going to put them on all three positions. I'll check in the morning to make sure there are no propane lines or anything in the way that could hinder installation. Another nice feature is that they'll help keep the Coroplast in place.
