Maiden Voyage and water inlet is leaking badly
We have a 2017 315RLTS. Arrived at the campground this afternoon and got set up. When I connected the fresh water hose it leaked badly from the connection at the Nautilus convenience center. I originally thought it was the hose end but when I tried my other hose the same thing happened. I tried wrapping the hose end with plumbing tape but it only slowed the leak. I settled for getting some water into the fresh water tank and we'll just shower at the bath house until I get this sorted out. I have a good pressure regulator on and it reads 30 psi so pressure isn't the issue.
Any suggestions welcome.

You might try using two hose washers on the inlet. It did the job for me.

Jim thanks so much! That did the trick. No more leak.

I always have a little trouble with the fittings on the Nautilus so I installed quick disconnect fittings to make it much easier. I put one on both the fresh water connection and the black tank flush:
I also installed a shutoff valve:

To connect, I run the hose to the unit, remove the female half of the quick disconnect fitting, attach it to the hose, reconnect it and open the valve - the whole process takes maybe 5 seconds. When I disconnect I close the valve, remove the fitting from the hose and reattach it to the fitting on the Nautilus.
The quick disconnect is a standard garden hose fitting like this one:

To keep things sanitary, I make sure to always use the same fitting on the fresh water line.

John, is there a reason you just don't leave the female quick connect on the hose? I'm guessing it's so you can attach the ends of the hose together when you roll it up?
