2016 379FL Water pump runs all the time
Filled fresh water tank before leaving home. Arrived at campground and turned on water pump to use water and pump runs continuously. Check behind Nautilus P1 water system and found one hose that is collapsing when pump is on. Got a new hose, replaced still same problem. The hose I bought is clear and you can see air bubbles in the line. So for some reason it seems air is getting into the system and not allowing the pump to pressurize the system. I blew air into the fresh water tank and you can hear bubbles in tank so I would think the water tank is not plugged by debris. I tried putting the cap on the water pressure fill to see if that was drawing in air, but no change.
Could the valves on the Nautilus P1 system be bad (there are 5 valves on our system). They are of course all in the correct position for boondocking.
I read on this forum were the Anderson 5 Kantleak Valve water system was changed to Nautilus P1 system in 2016. Many complaints about the Kantleak system so I'm guessing that is why system was changed to Nautilus P1.
Anyone have any ideas what is going on?
Thanks for your help

It's safe to assume that the hose that's collapsing is the suction line from the pump. I'll not that familiar with the Nautilus system but is there a valve between the pump and the tank...something that has to be switched if drawing from the tank?

Dave you are correct the collapsed hose is connected to the pump. There does not appear to be a valve between the pump and tank. When the pump is running we do get some water with a lot of sputtering from air in the line. But over time the air does not go away.

All I can suggest is to compare the valve settings when running the pump from the tank vs sanitizing where you're drawing from a container. On the KantLeak panel on our unit, there's a tank access valve that has to be in the correct position...wondering how this is accomplished on the Nautilus.

There is a small plastic filter housing on the inlet side of the pump; im not referring to the filter where the valves are. Check to make sure the housing is closed properly and not letting air in.

took the RV to General RV and after 3 Tech. looked at my problem it ended up being a loosing coupling on the back of the Nautilus P1 that was sucking air. Thanks for every ones input.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
