2017 297RSTS tail light connector add

I've attached a storage box to the rear hitch.

I'd like to add four prong plug so I can add some lights.

    Has anyone done this already?

Do y'all know if the wiring is accessible from underneath?

I was thinking of adding lights to ours as well, looking under our 303RLs 5er, there are wires below the underbelly, just need to figure what the wires are.

Thanks, the trailer is at a storage facility that's pretty close. I'll get underneath and start poking around when I get a chance...

On my 2017 27RL I made an aluminum box that plugs into the trailer receiver. On that box I added some yellow and red marker lights that come on with the parking lights of the truck/trailer. I found the wires coming from under the coroplast on each side in the extreme rear of the trailer going to marker lights. I just put a removable plug on that and now when the box is mounted on the back I plug in.
I did not have to remove any coroplast, just tapped into the flexable conduit that has the wires inside.

Got underneath it last night to take a peek and it was like you said. Ordered a 4 prong (trailer light) wiring harness and a led 5 function light strip from Amazon.

Yes - I have done this in order to add a second set of taillights when the bicycles are mounted and covered. The wiring to each of the taillights is accessible underneath on each side. I spliced and used heat shrink and electrical tape into the wires and ran them to a 4 prong connector. Click image for larger version.
