    Theater seats vs trifold couch

Trying to decide between the theater seats which are very comfortable vs the 60 trifold couch. 80% of the time it would just be two of us but it would be nice to have the extra bed. The specs say you can sleep 2 on the couch but its only 45" wide. The dinette bed looks small too, I don't see this RV sleeping 6! Im thinking of going with theater seats and just putting down a nice twin air bed when needed for company, not sure if there is enough floor space in the 2600RB we pick it up next week. Anyone have a solution!

    Yeah, pack a small tent

Congrats on your new trailer. Long ago we decided that since we are in ours far more by our selves than with anyone else, it would be laid out and furnish for the 2 of us. If the need ever arose that we needed to sleep others, well, they will have to rough it.

We purchased ours assuming that we spend most of the time with just the two of us also. When family and friends do come along they can use the pull out sofa and or an air mattress on the floor. We usually pay for the camping, food, and beverages so if they are a little uncomfortable they have choices!

We love our theatre seating, I usually end up sitting on the couch because when I sit in the theatre seats it is not long and the TV is watching me!

Good luck and enjoy your new camper.

X2 on the comfort of the theater seats. If I really want to watch something (Stanley Cup Finals, for example), I have to sit at the dining table.

I wouldn't give up theater seating. It was one the selling points. When I have extras with me and the couch won't fit them they bring a tent. Problem solved. The trailer is the home base.

We opted for 2 rocking recliners in place of the theater seat. There's just enough room for 2 in the 303 without a side table.
If I want a table I just turn a dinette chair sideways.

Isn't that something that is changed when you order, not at pick up??

Do the theater seats GD uses fold all the way flat, like some do, so that they could be used as beds?

Not all the way flat, but close enough to be quite "sleep-able". I sure have missed the last half of a lot of TV shows because of these theatre seats .

Can anybody comment on the comfort of the trifold for sitting and watching TV. Anybody have the trifold over the theater seating and happy with that choice?

Leaning towards the trifold to gain sleeping area for the grandkids,,,, going to buy the 2670MK soon.

I would get a storage ottoman for the trifold to get my legs up.
