Digital TV reception

I can't get reception on two local channels. I'm able to to get them on my home antenna but not on my 2950RL antenna. I've downloaded the DTV antennas app and it says the tower is the same distance (15 miles) and general direction as the other channel's tower I am getting. According to the app the channels share the same tower with another channel I do get. Can someone explain to me what I'm missing?

- The stations may be transmitting at different power levels, have antennas with different gains or beam patterns, or be at different heights on the tower.
- Higher frequencies generally don't have the range of lower frequencies.
- Your coax has higher losses at higher frequencies.
- The channel you don't get might be experiencing interference from any number of sources. Where I am now, for example, if I have certain LED lights turned on, I lose certain channels.

I just revamped my coax a bit. I used gold plated unions on the wall plate in the bedroom and basement. Also tightened the connections. Push on coax do not make a good enough digital connection. Too bad, they are convenient when storing/unstoring the bedroom TV.
