    Support for Slide Out?

Is there a need to put some sort of jack/support under the corners of the slide out when extended to prevent sag over time?

We haven't had a slide before and want to make sure we get the life out of our new 2500RL.

No. The slides are designed to be self-supporting. In fact, you can damage a slide if you put jacks or supports under it and the trailer settles.

This is our 3rd trailer with a slide(s). I never used a support.
A little sag can be good - it lets the rainwater run to the outside edge rather than towards the trailer.

I agree with Rob. If you have prop under the slide and trailer settles, you could damage slide box

We do have a set of Barker Slidewinders we use under the slide with the theater seats and table. I check them often and make sure they are not too tight. What these guys said above is true if you put them in too tight or your unit settles and you don't check them frequently they can cause big problems. I got them as we have a 105lb dog who jumps up on the theater seats! Good luck!
