We have the swivel recliners, and there is very little space to swivel. Also, because they are not wall hugger syle, you have to pull them out from the wall to fully recline. Here lies the problem, the base is now on two different levels. One being the slide level, and the other being the main floor level. There is about 1 1/8th inch difference, so when you go from reclining to upright you practically get launched from the chair because it will rock forward and down in the front of the chair. Hard to explain, but you'll find out what I mean when you try it. I don't know if the theater seating is wall hugger or not.

Hiya Not tired and welcome to the forums.
I have theater seating in my Solitude, and it is indeed wall hugging.

Thanks for the info. I really feel GD should replace these swivel recliners with wall hugger seating. That's the only way to eliminate the problem.

Thanks for the welcome, we picked up our 303 March 14, and just got back from the Rocky Mountain National Park last week. We had a great time, and the 303 pulled excellent. The only issue we had are the swivel rockers we got with it. They just aren't working properly as I explained in another post. GD's response was to cut some plywood and use as spacers under the base so they will set level. To me, that's not acceptable and not very attractive. I think they should replace them with the theater seating that are wall huggers. We'll see. Otherwise we are very happy with the 303 and look forward to more trips this summer.

We're wondering if anyone has used the option of individual rocker recliners instead of the section of theatre seating? And if so, do you like it? Is there actual space for them to swivel in?
Congrats on the new camper and welcome to the forum!

We opted for the recliners in place of the theater seats also. As already mentioned, space is a little tight...wish there was room for a narrow table between. I'll probably fix the base so it doesn't swivel...my preference.

Here's a photo with the recliners so you have some idea what it'd be like. We like the swivel arm lamp between for good light for reading.

    Hello,
I noticed in the pic you have sink covers, where and how did you get them, ours didn't come with them. Thanks, Eaglehead

    Hi All,
I am new to this forum and looking forward to participating with others in their experiences with Grand Designs campers. We just traded our 2013 Lance TT model 2285 for our new home on wheels a 303RLS. I researched for a month on different Makes, models and floorplans and we both decided that this model, for our needs, beat all others hands down. Trade in value was a HUGE avantage for us as the next closest dealer wanted almost $5,000.00 more for the same unit. I haven't been able to bring it home yet as I am waiting for the base rail that fits the 2014 Ram with the factory 5th wheel option is on back order till the end of the month, I hope it comes in then as we are both very excited to take our maiden voyage.

    Welcome to the forums Eaglehead!
And congrats on the purchase of your 303. Waiting is tough, but when you finally get to take that maiden voyage the wait will be worth it!

Look below the text box (where you type replies), there should be 3 buttons. Post Quick Reply, Go Advanced, Cancel.
Click on Go Advanced. You should see the option to upload pics.

However, I see you're a Trial Member. That may be the reason you can't upload.
