What happens if you don't change the controller? Mine says 17 even though i have maybe two on the generator but everything works fine. Is it just the hour meter that's effected?

It still works. But you will not have the hour meter to keep track of maintenance. If it's under warranty why not fix it? It'll be free and they let me install it myself.

I'm having the same issue on the 2017 395M we purchased last week. Just called Lippert and they are sending a new one out to me as well. Thanks for the info!

I got in touch with Lippert yesterday. They requested minor details as well as a photo and my part is already on it's way ! Thanks to everyone for the info to get this done. Just need to find where the old part is now to replace. I have 2017 Momentum 350.

Check behind the false wall in the basement, 4 screws and the wall comes out.
