installation of washing machine in 315RLTS
Hi there, as a new owner of a 315RLTS I am wondering has anybody installed or had any issues putting a washing machine in this trailer? i have oredered a compact 24" washer but I just checked the doorway to the bedroom and it is only 23" wide with the door removed. Thanks in advance for any replys.

Yikes...1st thought is " that ain't gonna work". I'll keep watching this thread to find the answer. We haven't talked about putting a washer/dryer in ours yet.

Im not sure what model you ordered, but for example, the Splendide 2100x is a "24 inch" washer, but has a depth of 22 5/8". If turned sideways it will fit through the door.

I installed the Splendide washer/dryer combo and it went seamlessly. No door removal. I just set it on a rolling cart and rolled into the bedroom up to the closet. I drilled the dryer vent opening where it's marked and hooked it all up.
The combo unit works really well.
I installed it in a 2016 313 RLTS which I think is almost identical to yours except for the bathroom layout.

Thanks for the replies. I ordered a different brand of washer and dryer (Whirlpool)which will be delivered today, we will see if the manufacturers literature is the same as the actual product dimensions. I may have my work for the next few days figured out. I will let you know the results later.

I removed the bedroom door and the screws holding the hinges to the door frame also hold the door frame to the wall, so once the door was removed it was easy to remove that side of the door frame and now have over 24" wide so shouldnt have any problems. Easy now hopefully.

Update. The washing machine ended up being 23 1/2 " wide so fit quite nicely. The drier was smaller so no issues. Everything is installed and fit very well. Lost some hanging closet space but well worth it. The only issue in the whole process was the weight of the washer and getting it into the drip pan I had made, quite a heavy lift with not much room.
