New Member looking to buy 2400BH

Hey everyone. Been reading a lot of good threads on here. We are in the process of trying to buy a Imagine 2400BH and was wondering what everyone has been paying around this forum. We got what we believe is a good offer from a dealer but wasn't totally sure. Can't wait to learn more about how people make their campers their own. Also this would be our 1st camper purchase.

Also does anyone know why a 2017 is listed at $32,187 vs a 2018 is listed at $33,234?

Could be adding freight to the price?

Talked to a grand designer rep and they stated it's due to price increases from vendors.

    I "IMAGINE" that a 2018 will be a little bit more than a '17.

To help those like me searching for this bit of info, we just settled on $24,988 for our 2018 2400BH, not including tax, etc and a small delivery fee. I also found that the majority of dealers were in the $32,500 range for price whereas the dealer we purchased from was near $35K. The dealer at $35K ended up giving us the best price. Seedealercost.com put the "dealer invoice" price right around $22K (not sure if this is actually legit) so our dealer appears to have turned a $3K profit? As someone else said in another topic similar to this, I feel that it's a fair profit for the dealer and a fair price for us. My head may be in the clouds on this but we're happy with how it turned out.

Yeah I was actually surprised to be offered a lower price on a special order until the dealer pointed out that special ordering requires nearly nothing on their part. However, by taking the one on the lot I am limiting the possibility that someone would walk in off the street and pay more than what I was offering. They offered me $800 off to order one, but due to timing I took the one on the lot. I was traveling from out of state so timing was a little more important for me.
