Automatic Maxx Fan cover sticking down.
Anyone found a fix for the covers sticking with the electric opener? I have 3 and 2 of them tend to stick and of course these are in the Kitchen and back bath so I have to get a ladder out and manually assist. Once I manually free them they seem to work OK until I go down the road again. Thinking some kind of lubricant on the seal, but I would think you want to avoid petroleum based products.
Thanks

I would say try 303 protectant on them. I use it on my slide seals and it keeps them soft and lubricated.

I use a little silicone grease on the seals.

Ours stick. We just roll with it. After a couple of tries they open. Feel that's better than them leaking.
