How are stick on tile backsplash Mods holding up?
My wife wants to install stick-on tiles in the kitchen as a back splash next to and behind the stove. I see a number of you have done this mod some time ago. Wondering how it is holding up- especially folks living in northern states and store their unit in the winter. Also, what kind of prep did you do to the original wall treatment- did you strip the textured wallpaper or tile over it?
Thanks, for the feedback.Barb and Blair, retired and loving it

I installed the tiles a couple years ago. The trailers been through only a month of early winter since the tiles were put on. They are holding up great, clean easy and also hold up as well in the bathroom. We'v had no problems with them not sticking to the wallpapaer.
I installed right over the wallpaper, a quick cleaning with a mild soap and be sure the wall is totoally dry before the install. It's an easy mod that really helps dress up the trailer. I like the tiles and found a deal on longer sheets that work with the existing tiles at the RV surplus store in southern MI and did the beadboard on the island.Marcy & Gary

I installed the stick on textured stone from Home Depot. I had to trim of the pieces with an abrasive cutoff blade on a Dremel tool as they are real stone. The adhesive on the tile backs has held up very well in the summer heat. On my older travel trailer I had put up the simulated copper back splash and held it up with double adhesive tape which did not do well. These self adhesive tiles are the cats meow. Much more expensive but looks fantastic.

I just bought a used 2018 Reflection 150 series where either GD or the first owner put in adhesive tiles in the kitchen. They are falling off and I'm going to replace it with something different. My unit will be parked at my mountain cabin during the summer so it will be in temps from 30 to 80, and then down here in the desert with temps from 25 to 100 the rest of the time. I need something that can withstand those wide temp swings, vibration while towing, etc. Was considering plank flooring if I can find the right pattern/style. Hope to replicate ship-lap or similar but still be washable.

We got ours at Floor and Décor. First year in but they really stuck when installing which was a challenge with a couple not fully aligned. Will report back after awhile as to how they do as we are heading out in two weeks
