When I picked up my fifth wheel, my dealer had me setup in 3 different campgrounds so I'd get used to packing up, moving and setting up my camper.

I'd suggest you camp close by your home and/or your dealer--and go every weekend until you learn your trailer's systems.

Look right, look left--and don't forget to look up. Don't ask me how I know. Now, I travel without the radio on--and with the wife giving me silence so I can concentrate better.

We went from a pick up camper to a 42 ft Momentum. I had pulled a few small trailers, but the 5'er is huge. I ask before the purchase to schedule a lesson in the lot the day we took possession. They conveniently forgot. The next time the rig went to the dealer for minor repairs I got a 2 hour driving lesson. It helped quite a bit.
I even watched a bunch of youtube videos on how to back up. I getting pretty good at backing into the driveway and it a blind side back in.

I agree. NO DISTRACTIONS focus, focus, focus.

Great article on backing up a 5th wheel, i use this method when there is room for it.

Best thing to do, goto an empty parking lot and practice practice practice.
