Reflection Pin Height and taller trucks
Has anyone had any issues with fifth wheel hitches to match with Reflection pin boxes in the beds of the new taller trucks. If so, how did you solve it?

I just wondered if you had a top on your box for when you were NOT towing. Some do. Tri fold tops can be flipped over toward the cab when you are towing and flipped back to cover the box when not towing to keep the hitch out of the elements.

I have a 2017 Ram 3500 4x4...... BW Companion slider.....tows a little nose high...plenty of space between the trucks top rail and the 303...... going to drop my hitch down a setting (1 inch) to try and level it out. I have a BAK Industries Revolver X2 that rolls up out of the way when towing..... locks and secures my bed when not towing....its flush with the top rail.

I have no problem with my 2017 F250 towing my 307MKS with Pullrite 16K autoslider. I have 8 to 9 inches between the trailer and the bed rails. I also have a tonneau cover mounted between the bed rails which I can close with the hitch still in the bed. Didn't have to make any adjustments to the pin box mounting.

The issue is not the hitch(es), but rather how tall they are making the new trucks. You can raise/lower both the hitch and the pin box, but you'll run into clearance problems between the truck bed rails and the overhang on the fifth wheel. Towing more than a couple of inches out of level can cause handling problems and premature failure of tires or suspension system components. The only two solutions are to 1) lower the truck [to include finding a different truck that's not so tall], or 2) raise the trailer. Our F350 DRW is rear-wheel-drive only and sits at least six inches lower than our 2WD GMC Sierra did. The Sierra had OEM 20" wheels and just sat higher off the ground than the F350 does with 17s - kind of a "low-rider tractor."
We used a BAKFlip tri-fold hard tonneau on the GMC and it worked well. It covered the Andersen hitch (and locked) and folded forward flat for towing. The Ford has a sprayed-in bed liner and a tool box, so I don't worry about keeping things covered - the hitch is secured.

Still a work in progress getting my used 317RST back on the road, waiting for some parts & I've gone from turtle to snail speed especially since hot summer has arrived.
Reflection has 16" tires.
My Ram 3500 with 17" tires sits high in the rear.
Over the axles and where the B&W hitch is I have ~55" bedrail to ground, at tailgate it's ~58" to ground
Reflection Kingpin base plate bottom to ground ~54"
With the factory Air Level running I don't see any squatting by the Ram when hitched up.
I don't have as much tailgate clearance as I want, only about 4". Have about 6" bed rail clearance at hitch.
Have the Revolver X2 rollup, it's rails are probably 1/8" max above bedrails.
So I'm going to try 1" or 1.5" lift blocks to see if that can give a bit more tailgate clearance.
Also I'll try the Ram's Air Level at Alt Trailer setting which is supposed to lower the rear ~1" for when towing flat trailer.
