Heat Pumps are great!
My wife and I purchased a 369RL last month and had the rear AC swapped out for the AC/Heat Pump (HP) and couldn't be more pleased. It is so nice at night (45 to 55F) to have the Dometic thermostat kick on the HP which provides really nice warm air distributed throughout the coach with the bedroom getting warm, too.
Just thought I'd mention how nice the HP works given that it's not a very expensive option ($150 ?) in case someone is buying a new coach. The HP works better than I thought it would and it's great not to have to go through propane or set up small electric heaters. I understand the HP doesn't pump heat when it gets down to 30F but it sure is nice above that.

Hi Larry and welcome to the forums!
Thanks for the info about the heat pump. That's not a bad price for that option.Renee & Bill -- Central Louisiana

Can my dealer add this option? We asked and we're told it was not available by dealer and Dometic.

Re: Heat Pumps are great!
Question about heat pump: Do they draw about the same amount of power as air conditioner? Don't know that much about them but I assume they run off the same compressor as the A/C.

Re: Heat Pumps are great!
The way the heat pump works is it reverses the ac system, so the evaporator inside gets warm and the condenser on top gets cold. It will actually use less power because the pressures are lower when it is cold outside. Hope this answers your question.
