    Price Point comparison

Who are the price point RV market that Grand Design competes with. Is the Reflection a weekend and short stay RV? Is the Solitude a full time rig? Or are both units full time rigs? Who is in the focus price point market with each of these units? Thanks any suggestions ?

    Re: Price Point comparison

The Solitude is an extended stay fifth wheel.
Comparable RV's (in construction and price): Heartland's Bighorns, Forest River's Columbus & Cedar Creek, and Keystone's Montana High Country or Mountaineer--just to name a few.

We looked at all of these RV's. Solitude's price and owner's rep are just a couple factors that influenced us into choosing Solitude.

    Re: Price Point comparison

Solitude is a full profile fifth wheel. Full Profile typically = around 13' exterior height, around 8'6" body width. Full profile fifth wheels are more suited to extended stay. All High end priced fifth wheels will be Full Profile

Reflection is a Mid Profile fifth wheel. Mid Profile typically = around 12'6" exterior height, 8' body width. Mid Profile are better suited for Weekenders, and Vacation stays ( week or 2 at a time). Tow vehicle capability is responsible for the Mid Profile design, they are lighter and can be towed by smaller trucks than a full profile.
