ACs on same 50 amp leg

I thought I'd post here instead of one of the electrical threads in case someone from GD could chime in.

Our 2016 Reflection 337 seems to have both ACs wired on the same leg of the 50 amp service (we have a Progressive Industries hard-wired EMS with display that tells me what's being drawn on each leg when things are running). This setup can cause some issues in some parks where there is a voltage drop with high draw situations and, occasionally, our EMS will take us off-line when the voltage drops too low. Has anyone, or can anyone advise on, moving one of the ACs to the other leg at the breaker panel so that they are at least drawing from opposite legs of the 50 amp service? Physically/mechanically would this be hard to do and is there an electrical reason not to do it?

    Thanks,

I'll try this afternoon, Jim. We're in a National Forest with very poor signal...

Ok, in theory pretty simple. 1/2 of the breakers should be on each leg. Yoy need to determine if it is every other breaker (remember 2 1/2 width breakers =1) is on the opposite phase or if it is split left and right of the main 50amp breaker. Once you figure that out just move the 2nd AC to a breaker on the opposite phase as the main AC. That means moving the wire going into the breaker. Those breakers pop out to work on.

Thanks, Jim. I think I was just starting to figure that out. I'll swap the AC that's with Microwave #2 (which we don't have) with the Opt Washer and Opt Dryer (which we also don't have).

Rob, you can see from my photo that the two ACs are on different legs. Jim (BabyBober) has the right idea.

I've wondered about this before but I thought I remember being told not to worry about it. My second A/C was installed by the dealer but I would assume my panel was setup like this from the factory. I've never had any issues (I don't think) so should I leave it alone? Actually I doubt I would feel comfortable messing with it myself anyway.Click image for larger version.

Thanks, everyone. It was an easy swap and now both legs are no lower than 115V with both ACs running (previously, the leg with both ACs would get down to 106V). Perhaps GD figured this out by the time Tucson Jim's 2017 model was built. Anyway, all's well that ends well, I suppose (for those of you old enough to remember the Kingston Trio). I even used a sharp blade to cut out the labels, peeled them off, and put them in the new positions. Thanks again!

You want to come over and do mine?

Did you happen to take any pictures as you did this? I have no idea how to even start.
