    Level Up System Problem

As we were getting ready to leave for Florida this morning, we ran into a problem with the Level Up system on our Solitude. There doesn't seem to be any power to the controller at all. I have spent the morning checking the system components and have had no luck. I haven't even been able to determine if there is a fuse for the system. Has anyone else had this problem?

    Re: Level Up System Problem

Sorry, I don't have experience with the system but here's a link to LCI owner/service manual for Level Up... http://www.lci1.com/images/support/m...-fifth-web.pdf

    Specifically, here's the troubleshooting section...

    TROUBLESHOOTING
1st - Check the battery in the REMOTE. Replace if necessary.
2nd - Check for POWER into the receiver. If there is no POWER, check the protection device on
the positive wire feeding the receiver. Reset or replace the protection device.
    3rd - Check onboard fuses.
4th - When POWER into the receiver is established, check for POWER out to the MANUAL
SWITCHES. The positive wire also has a protection device inline. If there is no power out
to the MANUAL SWITCHES, reset or replace the protection device.
5th - Reprogram remote to the receiver. See “TO PROGRAM THE TRANSMITTER.”
6th - If system is still inoperative, replace receiver. The receiver is common to all units.

I'm guessing that their reference to a protection device is done when installed at GD...probably an in-line fuse or resettable circuit breaker. They also mention onboard fuses which I'm taken to be 12V fuse(s) in the DC fuse panel.

Thanks, I've tried to find an onboard fuse and haven't been able to find one anywhere.

There is an inline fuse in a holder near the battery.

Should be on the left side of the front compartment. Get in with a light, and you should see an inline fuse holder above the battery box somewhere.

Yes there is an inline 15 amp fuse right above the battery compatment. I have had to replace two of them. Not sure why because the system works fine. I know it warns you if there is low voltage so maybe that effects the fuses not sure.

    Re: Level Up System Problem

Thank you so much. With your help, I finally found the fuse hiding behind a bunch of wires in the corner near the battery. The system is working now so we can resume our trip south tomorrow.

This forum is so great. Nice to find help on super bowl Sunday. This is a real blessing.
