Schwintek slide out only one side working

Reflection 308 BHTS KITCHEN SLIDE
Got to campground tonight and only one side [the front] on the slide is working. Found the control panel and the codes are inconclusive. Always blinks red for that side. Sometimes continues for 2 3 4 5. Blinks afterwards. I have seen many threads. Not exactly my problem. Any suggestions.

Hopefully you have your manual with you. There is a procedure to push the button on the controller several times where it will begin flashing (I do not remember how many times). At this time you can hold in the slide extend or retract button to bypass the safeties and force the unit in the direction you need. I had this issue and it turned out to be a bad encoder which determines the position of the slide. The encoder is built into the motor assembly. The codes will also be listed in your manual.
