Where to camp near Marco Island
looking for reccomended campground near Marco Island

We stay in the Naples area alot. The KOA gets good reviews, but we don't quite see why. It may be very nice, but driving through, it's cramped and I think it was not paved. Silver Lakes Golf and RV resort is fantastic. We are staying there for a week coming up soon. We were surprised to get a reservation with it being in-season in that area. The other campground that we stay at is an older version of Silver Lakes called Crystal Lake RV resort, which is north of the Marco area in Naples, but nice none the less. Other nice ones down that way are motor-home only.

we live in Naples so we don't "camp" here - having said that only one we know of is the KOA that is near Marco Island. are you looking for the winter 2019 season? May be tough at many RV resorts may be booked. Good luck.
