Oh, that's rich, Mark. My skills with a Dremel are almost as good as my skills with a router. . .

But I'll give it some serious thought. Thanks.

Thanks. A little dremel on the top and bottom, glue a backer-board inside, along one side. Hmm. Might work.

It does surprise me, though, that the size of the switches in my unit, of which there three, with cutouts available for an additional three, is nowhere to be found.

Sorry for the delay and unfortunately, I have no idea what brand. I literally just picked something off the hook at the RV store and it fit. I was happy that it had arrows on it and matched the other switches on the panel.

For the record and the benefit folks looking to source the slideout and awning control switches in the future (per GD, they are the same switch), the JR Products 12395 Slide-Out Switch, 4-PIN, Black Momentary On-Off-Momentary Off is an exact copy of the switches installed in my Solitude. I ordered the switch and have verified that it operates the awning just fine.

I can't explain why the cutout dimensions don't match the cutout size I measured on my panel with calipers. The switch specs and my measurements are not even close. I wonder if the spec is a misprint.

Completed relocation of Latitude awning Extend/Extract switch to Control Panel

Just completed the relocation of my rear Latitude awning Extend/Retract switch from under the hutch to the main control/monitor panel -- where all the other awning/slide control switches are.

Here's how it's wired (note, my wire colors were different. One wire is a switched +, the other two are for slide-motor + and -. The switch instructions indicate which terminals are for which function.):

The only place I could find 3-conductor wire in cut lengths was HomeDepot online. Needed about 6 feet.
