Adding 2nd AC unit

Hello,

We purchased our 27RL last month and while the one AC kept up in Myrtle Beach I'm not sure it will when we head out to the west south west next year. I was told that our unit is "prewired" for the 2nd AC but I cannot find any information on what exactly that means. I know it would include the power but what about thermostat and our unit is ducted.

Any help on this would greatly be appreciated

Hi Dave - I don't have your model of FW, but on our 337, the thermostat wires were located behind the light switch on the wall in the bedroom. Power was already in the ceiling and the duct work was shared with the front AC. It should be really easy to install a second unit because everything should already be there.

Our 30BH was the same as your 337. Pretty simple actually.

Would anyone be able to give me a parts list? I assume there is the roof unit, the part for inside the bedroom and the thermostat. Would love a parts list so I know exactly what to get. Thanks much

Thank you so much for these videos! Oher than the roof work and getting the AC unit up there this does not look like a too difficult job at all.

Does anyone know what make / model of Dometic AC thermostat to purchase?

I don't know since we had the dealership service department install ours. They used the exact same Dometic thermostat that we have for the initial living room AC unit. Seems to work well.
