    skid plates for Imagine 2500rl

I brought home my shiny new baby last night. When I entered my driveway which is uphill my rear stabilizers dragged on the street. After the sick feeling left me I realized that this can be repaired. However I cant change the grade of my driveway. A coworker suggested that adding skid plates or rails would eliminate future damage. Has anyone had experience with this problem?

Are you running a weight distribution hitch? Can you un-snap the bars to lower the tongue and raise the rear just to get it in and out of the driveway?

I am running a weight distribution hitch and I thought that this might work. My concern is that I live on a very busy street and I hate to be in the road loading and or unloading my bars. This may be the most logical solution though. Thanks for the prompt advise.

We had a set of rollers spot welded onto a trailer with low clearance years ago. It really offered a lot of protection. Just spot weld them at the back of the frame.

Find a place close to home to take the bars off before you get to your house, that's what i used to do
