    Tire wear

Well we have successfully completed a 6200 mile vacation. I'm getting abnormal tire wear on the right front and the left rear tires. The tires are wearing the outside edge of the tire. The right is to the point that it is going need to be replaced and the left is close. I've maintain the tire pressures according to the recommended pressure on the tires themselves. I have 6500 miles on the tires. I have not made any sharp turns and I travel 60 mph.

If you use the search function on the forum, you'll find a number of threads on this topic. Bottom line is that, if an inner or outer shoulder is wearing (rather than the center or both shoulders which is inflation), you have alignment problems. This can either be a simple alignment issue or bent axles/spindles. The only way to tell for sure is to take it to a heavy-duty alignment shop (such as those that handle tractor-trailers) and have the suspension checked out - preferably by a Hunter-trained technician on Hunter alignment equipment. If the issue is a bent axle or spindle, the axle has to be replaced. You are still in warranty, so GD and Lippert should work with you. Don't let them talk you into having your dealer align the suspension - they are not equipped unless they do alignments on large motorhomes and have the Hunter system.
