Note: The paint codes will be for a quart or more of paint--and it will be for a specific brand. That's some really expensive paint to get custom mixed for just touch ups.

Another issue is that the color in fiberglass RV's is not painted on. It's actually in the fiberglass. The paint code they give out will be where they matched the color of the fiberglass. But the sides of the RV will have a grain or texture that the painter will have to copy after a repair has been done and paint is required. Often, they'll use a big wad of plastic wrap and dab it on the wet paint to match the texture.

I know this is not an issue when you're just wanting small touch ups. But it would be very nice if Grand Design would go to one of the online automotive touch paint sources and get them to match the paints used on their trailers--available in touch up pens. Touch up paints are flammable and are sent to customers by ground freight.
