    Norcold refrigerator too cold.

2017 Imagine 2600RB. In service 14 months. Refrigerator freezes food. I've moved the thermistor sensor right, left, up and down. The warmest temperatures are with the sensor on the 9th vane from the left and as close to the top as possible. Refrigerator temperatures are as follows: upper right 28 degrees, lower right 33 degrees, upper left 27 degrees, lower left 31 degrees. Freezer temps are upper left 10 degrees, lower right -5 degrees.

This is on shore power over a period of 3-4 days with the refrigerator/freezer empty. I assume adding cold food to the unit will have some affect on the temperatures. My question is: Is this as good as the Norcold automatic refrigerator gets? Or is there something I need to do such as a different control board, etc. Thank you for any advice.

Reading the manual it says to move the clip right. I bought a small battery operated fan for the refrigerator and placed it on the bottom shelf to circulate the air. Seems to work.

Thanks bailer6334. I've moved the sensor as far to the right as the wires would allow but the warmest temps are when its attached to the 9th vane. i'll try the small fan and see if that takes care of it.

N610V Norcold fridge? Same problem here. After 3 trips to the dealer I convinced the tech to send me an adjustable optical board (front panel) and changed it out myself. No big deal - 3 screws and an electrical connector. Just for good measure I bought a thermistor from Amazon. Problem solved.

Thanks Jmbopp. Checked temp this morning and in the low twenties. Just ordered optical board from thenorcoldguy.com. What setting do you keep yours at? I still may try a small fan to equalize the temp once I get it above freezing

I set the switch to "3" & played with the thermistor location. The fridge is between 35-37 degrees and the eggs aren't frozen anymore.

jmbopp, changing the optical board, did it help with the defrosting? I have the same issues you had. Is your refrigerator still operating as advertised?

My Norcold will freeze food and fluids in the refrigerator even on the lowest setting.

What corrective actions I have taken to this point:
    1. Replaced the optical control panel on the front of unit
    2. Moved the thermistor to multiple locations on the fins, no difference
    3. Completed defrosted unit
    4. Rearranged food/liquids for better airflow

Observations: While on shore power, food/liquids freeze. While on propane, food/liquids do not freeze. Same temp settings. No error codes displayed. NO lights on limit switch.
