I fired up the main a/c on my 29rs and it shook and vibrated like it was going to come apart. I pulled the filter cover and removed those four screws. Then took out the two plugs and those two screws. Then took the cover off. I could see the squirrel cage blower. It looked ok. Got on top and you take off four screws to pull the top cover. The mounts on the compressor and fan were good. Then I finally saw a dirt dauber nest on the front center of the hub of the outside fan. Broke it off and that fixed it. A/C is quiet as a mouse now!

Later I will take the covers off of both a/c units and wrap the openings with 1/4" hardware cloth- we call it "rat wire". to keep the dirt daubers out. I keep my RV in a barn and for whatever reason the dirt daubers still decided to not only build inside the unit but on the fan blade.
