heater not igniting
We have a 303rls. It's almost 2 years old, but we have never used the heater. We tried to use the heater and it will not ignite. The fan blows and it tries to ignite, but can't. I don't know if it is related or not, but the 2 nights ago we had a bad thunderstorm with high wind. We noticed a kind of swooshing/clicking noise coming from the heater compartment. The heater was turned off at the time. After a while the noise stopped. After that is when I tried the heater and it would not ignite. Since I have never used the heater in the 2 years I have owned the unit, I don't know if it ever worked or if the storm/wind event caused a problem. This one really has me confused. Any ideas out there?
Thanks,
Dennis
