    Tight gate turn?

So I'm fairly new to the 5ver game.
We have a very tight gate to get our trailer out from our camping spot.
I backed it in ok, it was tricky but got her in.
Now I have to drive out and make a hard right turn, my question is should a guy hug the right post so the back of trailer can swing and clear the left post?
My bumper pull I stayed more to the left side.

I'm thinking hug right and get trailer tires past post before turning if I can!

Yes you are correct, hug the right post, just as the trailer wheels clear the post start turning.... but again watch how much you swing the rear end of the trailer on the left post!!
but as soon as you can turn the vehicle back to the left so you are running parallel to the road... if you have spotter... make sure they are out in the road with the Tow vehicle so you can see and hear them...
So many times I have seen the spotter behind the vehicle and/or out of sight of the driver and trying to let them know how close they are to something!!

    Thx
If no cars across street it will be a breeze. But from right post to back of grey car is 47 ft
Frt of my truck to back trailer tire is 43ft
So my plan is hug right post, keep my slider in then once start to turn flip hitch slider to extended to be able to turn sharper... hopefully

Why not remove one fence post and make the opening bigger. Looks like it would be a pretty easy job.

Most importantly take your time, and use a spotter...if it went in, it will come out.

Asked the brother in law about that.... he was not keen on that idea. Which I get it would be that gate swing post so it would have to go back in good.

See how it goes, I should have about 8ft of trailer still inside gate when I start to turn!

Hug right and have a tail watcher. That stupid tail swing is a gotcha. If you can learn whose cars those are and ask them to move them temporarily. This works really good in tight RV parks.
