Thank you for that information. It looks like at some point it was a feature Fuzion offered.

I wonder if it was made by Lippert - in which case the bracket parts might be available.

Now that's cool... lots of pressure on the lower portion of the door though. I wonder if th GD door can handle it on my 380th.

Another item, my springs don't do squat. Should they assist in any manner ?

My springs engage when the door starts opening (about a foot) then the door will "float" about 6" off the ground.

That seems to be about what our springs do as well. I can balance the door on one knee if I'm opening it to put the cables on to use as a patio space.

Mine do not. I don't think they help with any of the weight. Putting her in for service early fall and will have them look at them.

Our ramp takes maybe 20 or 30 lb. of lift at level.

I have thought about getting a winch to pull the bike up. Riding the bike up and down is an accident waiting to happen. I like the idea of push-button lift also.

My door must be different. It is a breeze to raise and lower plus mine doesn't have springs it has a cable tension system on each side.

Door on my 17 is literally a one finger operation, about as close to zero gravity as you can get. Doubt that a new door system could be retrofitted, it has two big springs and a cable system in the side channels. Not sure how you would even get everything in there and secure it. Probably cost prohibitive anyway. So I have nothing constructive to add, good luck!
    Take care,
