376TH Living Room TV not high enough???

We recently bought a 2017 376TH.
The main TV in the front LR that comes up out of the hutch area......... when I bring that TV all the way up, it still sits to low for the remote control to hit the sensor that is located at bottom center of TV. At fully raised height, the sensor, or bottom of TV is just even with the top of shelf that it comes out of. If someone is sitting in the recliners or sofas, as they would be when watching TV, they are to low to change the channel or the volume. I have looked at the mount that TV is attached too, and TV is at the highest level, so it is not possible to just raise it up.
I do not know what else to do, and was wondering of you guys had run in to this, and maybe had any suggestions??
It looks like if the TV was higher it would not be an issue, but you have to stand up to change channels or the volume which is kind of a pain.

I had enough adjustment in mine to raise it about an inch. It works ok now. It was originally mounted all the way to the bottom.

I bought this from Amazon (for under $20.00) and installed it to operate the TV at its original installed height and it also allows me to operate the stereo system behind the door with that door closed.

I attempted to raise the TV on the mount, but by the time it was high enough for the remote to work the TV while I was seated, the lid would not close completely when getting on the road again.

Has room for growth as I upgrade my Blu Ray DVD and other electronics in the entertainment area.

That ir extender should do the trick for you.
